This queensized quilt was commissioned for my client's teenaged son. He loved the movie "Dragonheart" and wanted the cliff scene from the movie with the added characters of a knight and wizard. I worked hard to create the sunset effect with a stormy looking sky. Piecing the curves took a lot of work and the dragon's face went through several transformations before I got it right. Although this quilt made me really stretch, I was quite pleased with the final result.
